What is Suzuki violin group class?
Ages 4–6: Our Suzuki Violin Group Class is a playful, nurturing introduction to violin and music-making for children ages 4–6. Based on Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE), the class introduces kids and their practice partner to the structure and joy of violin lessons in a supportive group environment. This is an interactive class that meets weekly for a full year.

Taught by a Registered Suzuki Instructor
Our teacher is Suzuki-trained and created this class especially for 4–5-year-olds. Through music games, rhythm exercises, and hands-on exploration, your child will begin developing violin skills in a joyful way that matches their developmental stage.

Ages: 4–6
Location: Sidbury House, 15 N. 5th Ave. Wilmington, NC—right down the street from our main BAMA location.
Schedule: Mondays at 3:15 PM (36 classes from September 2025–August 2026)
Tuition: $133 monthly
Parent participation required

Scholarship Application
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, BAMA offers annual need-based scholarships to help make music education accessible to all children. Awards may be full or partial and can include instrument loans. Scholarships are open to the public, with recipients selected by our board committee based on financial need and musical aptitude.
