Suzuki Violin Performance Group

The BAMA Suzuki Violin Performance Group is our performance group for our school-aged violin students. This class provides violinists with the valuable opportunity to make music with others, build ensemble skills, and perform together.

Violin students will be divided by age and skill level into three group. Please speak with your teacher or see your performance group invitation email to determine your group placement.

All BAMA students are encouraged to participate in our performance group classes which are included in lesson tuition. To perform in the concert, a student must have attended at least 2 of the performance group rehearsals. Full participation is needed to prepare for this performance. Suzuki Violin Performance Class Schedule & Repertoire

• 9:45–10:45 AM Group 1 (repertoire: handout at first class)

• 10:20–11:15 AM Group 2 (Repertoire: Twinkle/Variations, Lightly Row, Song of the Wind, Aunt Rhody, O Come, May Song, Long Long Ago, Allegro, Perpetual Motion, Allegretto, Etude, Minuet 3)

• 10:50 AM–12:00 PM Group 3 ( Repertoire: Allegretto, Etude, Minuet 3, Hunters’ Chorus, Two Grenadiers, Gavotte from Mignon, Bach Minuet Book 3, Humoresque)

Are you a non-BAMA student who would like to join this performance group? We welcome all committed students to join our groups! Tuition for the year is $100 or $60 for one session (fall or spring).

Optional: The statewide Suzuki Play-in is on September 19, 2026 here in Wilmington and you are invited! We would love to see you there if it suits you!
