At Brooklyn Arts Music Academy, we offer viola lessons taught by experienced, passionate faculty who are dedicated to helping each student succeed. Our teachers focus on key skills such as posture, beautiful tone production, intonation, and overall musicianship. BAMA offers viola lessons for all ages and skill levels, creating a supportive environment for growth and creativity.

Performance Groups at BAMA for ViolA Players
At BAMA, all private lesson students are invited to participate in group classes and ensembles as part of their tuition—no extra cost, no separate registration required. These classes provide valuable opportunities to make music with others, build ensemble skills, and perform together.
Are you a non-BAMA student who would like to join this performance group? We welcome all committed students to join our groups! Tuition for the year is $100 or $60 for one session (fall or spring).
Scholarship Application
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, BAMA offers annual need-based scholarships to help make music education accessible to all children. Awards may be full or partial and can include instrument loans. Scholarships are open to the public, with recipients selected by our board committee based on financial need and musical aptitude.
